An increasing number of foundational packages are available in the list below.
All packages are built for sparc64-sun-solaris2.10, and should work on any UltraSPARC processor. Those that could benefit from it have also been compiled with Sun VIS (Visual Instruction Set) SIMD/multimedia instruction optimisation.
The original proof of concept tarball (including the base files package, gcc and its libraries, and coreutils) is available here. However, this includes older versions of base files, and so should not be used in production
The list below includes all currently available FractalKit packages as uncompressed .pkg datastreams. Please be aware that Solaris's pkgadd(1) does not resolve dependencies, and so if you get an error about a shared object not being found, you will need to download the library containing that shared object and install it.
All ELF binaries are signed with the FractalKit Executable object signature certificate, which will be installed into /etc/certs by the base-files package. You can then verify the authenticity of the file using elfsign(1)

This project is in the very early stages, and this website will probably be redesigned significantly in the weeks and months to come. To contact us about FractalKit, you can email us
