Modern packages for Solaris 10

Current status:

Proof of concept tarball (including the base files package, gcc and its libraries, and coreutils) is available here
You can also download the individual .pkg files from the list below. Please be aware that Solaris's pkgadd(1) does not resolve dependencies, and so if you get an error about a shared object not being found, you will need to download the library containing that shared object and install it.
